It has been my pleasure teaching in the Marketing Department since 1987. This is absolutely the best job in the world. Being a WSU grad, I love seeing the next generation of Shockers achieve the first step in their professional career which is a degree from the Barton School. I base my teaching on “what’s happening in the world of marketing” and my experiences working with companies as a marketing research consultant and management trainer. In addition to my role as a faculty member, I also serve as the Barton School’s Director of Student and Community Initiatives which means I lead student and community outreach programs for the school. I am also a WSU Recruitment Fellow which allows me to practice marketing all the time. Finally, in my “free time” I conduct seminars on emotional intelligence, overcoming negativity in the workplace, and communication skills for the Center for Management Development.
