Wichita State AMA Marketing Showcase and Case Competition

Celebrate the accomplishments of Barton School marketing students and experience a live case competition solving a real marketing challenge for a local nonprofit organization.

Hosted by the Wichita State University American Marketing Association (AMA) Chapter and the Department of Marketing, this Centennial-year event brings together students, faculty, business leaders, and community members to recognize student achievement and support experiential learning.

About the Competition

Throughout the semester, WSU AMA student teams have analyzed a real-world marketing challenge and developed strategic solutions for a local nonprofit partner. The top three finalist teams will present their recommendations live during this culminating event.

In addition to the case competition finals, guests will have the opportunity to meet AMA student members, learn about their projects and community involvement, and network with fellow professionals and Barton School supporters.

What to expect

• AMA Student Showcase & Networking (6:30 PM)
  Meet student members and learn about the marketing initiatives and community projects they’ve led this year.

• Live Case Competition Presentations (7:30 PM)
  Three finalist teams present strategic marketing solutions for a local nonprofit organization.

• Audience Participation
  Cast your vote for the evening’s Top Individual Presenter and help recognize outstanding student talent.

• Awards & Recognition
  Celebrate team winners and individual achievement.

• Community & Professional Networking
  Connect with high-performing marketing students, Barton faculty and staff, and business leaders from across the community.
