On Saturday, July 20 – Wednesday July 24, Professor Katie Watson and the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will host the 10th International Train-the-Trainer workshop in Chicago, which empowers participants to teach Watson’s medical improv curriculum at their own schools.
Registration opens on Monday February 5th at 9:00am CT.
Come engage with like-minded clinicians, medical humanities scholars, standardized patients, and others from across the country and globe in a rigorous, fun five days of experiencing the curriculum in small groups as learners with expert trainers, then doing the work necessary to leave with the skills and resources to teach medical improv when you return to your home institution. Commitment to some form of health education preferred; prior theater experience is welcomed but not necessary!
