Asaduzzaman is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Undergraduate (B.S.) Computer Engineering Program in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Asaduzzaman received his PhD and MS degrees, both in Computer Engineering, from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). He received his BS degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Link to his curriculum vitae.

Asaduzzaman's research interests include computer architecture, high performance computing (parallel programming), and embedded systems. He is a recipient of research grants from various organizations including Kansas NSF EPSCoR, NetApp, Nvidia, and State of Kansas-URCA. His research lab (CAPPLab) earned top research designation as it was named a GPU Research Center by Nvidia. His lab developed an improved tracking tool for animal clinic SNKC. His team's solar energy project was well recognized by the Green Group at Wichita State. Link to his research statement.

Asaduzzaman's teaching courses include Introduction to Computer Architecture (new ECE 394, old CS 394), Microprocessor-Based System Design (new ECE 594-594L, old CS 594-594L), High Performance Computer Systems (new ECE 694, old CS 697AM), Hardware-Based Security Engineering (new ECE 696, old CS 697AN), Applied Parallel Computing (CS 697AP - A satellite course from UCB and XSEDE), Parallel Programming for HPC Systems (new ECE 794, old CS 794), and Computer Systems in Data Analytics (new ECE 875, old CS 898AI). Asaduzzaman is the Technical Program Chair of 2019 American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Midwest Section Conference at Wichita State (see photos). He serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Computers & Electrical Engineering and MTAP) and as a TCP/IPC member/reviewer for conferences/workshops (e.g., ICIEV, IPCCC, NOCARC, SECon, and SKIMA). He serves as a panel reviewer for NSF programs (e.g., Graduate Research Fellowships Program, EPSCoR RSV Panel 2, and TUES Type-1).
