MEM+MBA 2+1 Program
Students completing the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) at WSU will be allowed to use up to 12 credits hours (4 classes) in Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at WSU if they pursue it (i.e., double-counting 12 hours between two programs). The 12 credit hours will be completed by the student as a requirement for their MEM degree program and should be taken from the required courses in the MBA curriculum. The main objective of making this change is to provide the opportunity to students to pursue dual degrees (MEM and MBA) and structure the curriculum so that both programs can be completed within a reasonable time frame. The double counting rule will allow students to complete both programs by taking 60 hours of course work. The MEM program must be completed before any courses can be applied to the MBA program.
