BEST Robotics Sponsors
We pride ourselves in making entry to this program FREE to all teams. We have hundreds of volunteers that work year-round to develop games, design fields, build the fields, train coaches and mentors, and recruit our judges, referees and teams. But we need the funds to procure the materials and rent the venues. Fund raising is critical for this program to exist, and we welcome every dollar you might be able to donate.
Hubs, like Kansas BEST, are tjhe organizations closest to the teams. They cover a geographic area that allows them to have at least 12 teams each year. Kansas BEST serves the entire state.
Regions are groups of hubs that sponsor a championship event every year. The best performing teams from their member hubs are sent to the Regional Championship for a 2-3 day event to identify the BEST teams in the Region. Kansas BEST is in the Midwest Region with other hubs in Colorado, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
There are 3 regions in the nation at this time. National level sponsors will support all teams and hubs with their gifts. Many times this is with materials that are in each team's kit, or it may be parts for all the fields, or access to a software package for the teams to use.
