What is DreamSpark?
Through DreamSpark, Now known as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft makes highly desired, advanced programs available to students and educators. With its subscription, Wichita State University's College of Engineering provides engineering students, staff, and faculty members with instant and easy access to populare programs such as MS Project, Visio, Windows 10, and more.


Where do I access the DreamSpark Webstore?
You access the DreamSpark Webstore at the following web address:

     https://signup.azure.com/studentverification?offerType=3

When it asks you to sign in type your My WSU ID and add @wichita.edu, so for example if your WSU ID was y333k888 then you type in y333k888@wichita.edu and hit next. The website will take you to a new page when your put in your email and password (the password is the same one you use to log in to computers or check email), hit sign in. 

What if I have problems logging in?
If you can not log in, please fill out the online form by clicking on this link: Log In Help

When filling out the form you must use your WSU email address. If you mispell your email address your request will be deleted.  Your username will be your WSU email address and will not change.

How do I download the software I would like?
After you log in click on Software which is on the left side panel, once the list of available software is displayed scroll down and click on the program you would like to download or use the search bar. Once you see the list of programs you can click on a particular program then hit download. Make sure to click the View Key button and write down the Product Key that generates, you'll need that to activate your software after install.

If you want Windows 10 operating system search for Windows 10 Education and download the latest version available.

Some of the software will be downloaded as an ISO file, if you are on Windows 10 you will be able to open the ISO file and install the program. If you are wanting to install an operating system like Windows 10 onto your PC then you'll need to burn the ISO onto a dvd or USB drive.  Freeware is available to accomplish this task. 

What if I have problems with the DreamSpark website?
If you have a problem downloading the software, and it is not addressed in the FAQ, you can contact customer support. WSU is not able to troubleshoot installation problems on your personal PC's. WSU will assist in account creations or account log in issues. 

How many copies of an application can I download?
You are allowed to download more than one copy of an application, but you must request a license for each copy. The site will keep track of all the software you download along with the license key for that product.

Why don't I see Microsoft Office on the list of available applications?
If you wish to download Microsoft Office applications go to o365.wichita.edu, log in with wsuID@wichita.edu, then click on Install Office on the top right.
