Genetic Counseling

Genetic Counseling is a growing professional field given the increasing emphasis on genetic testing in medicine.  The field is expected to grow at a rate >25% this decade, five times faster than the average professional career.  This high-paying and rewarding field requires an MS in Genetic Counseling.  Typical applicants to these programs hold BS degrees in Biological Sciences.  However, students would better fit the expectations of these highly competitive MS programs and be more successful with certain additional courses, not often taken by students pursuing a BS in Biological Sciences.
