Details: KMUW, Wichita's NPR station, is seeking an account executive to join our corporate sponsorship team. The team is part of a vibrant and creative public radio station with a community service mission. This AE position is for someone who appreciates well-done, in-depth journalism and is a fan of public radio. They will be responsible for the sale of broadcast sponsorship messages consistent with public broadcasting industry standards and KMUW’s branding. This account executive will sell on-air inventory, digital platforms and event sponsorships. This position begins with an active account list and will have a significant focus on developing new business. Each day will be a mix of engaging with existing clients and growing their account list through prospecting.
