- Details: The Wichita State University Foundation is searching for a talented writer to join our Marketing & Communications team as the Communications Director. This position will be responsible for developing all written communications across channels that support the WSU Foundation’s mission whether it’s through digital delivery (email, socials, website), our Horizon Blog, traditional event and presentation materials, or gift proposals. The ideal candidate will be creative with extremely strong written communication skills and will exemplify the Foundation’s core values: Integrity, Teamwork, Relationships, and Service.
- Minimum Requirements

Proven experience as a content writer demonstrated in a professional portfolio.

Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in Communications, Marketing, Broadcast Journalism, Journalism, Public Relations, Integrated Marketing, or related field.

Five years of professional content marketing experience.

Project professional image at all times.

Commitment to the WSU Foundation core values of Integrity, Service, Teamwork and Relationships

- Deep understanding of AP style

Past experience interviewing subjects for longform blog articles

Comfortability writing for social media channels

Online fundraising experience
