 Tina Bennett came to Wichita State University in 1978 from the Department of Linguistics
                  at the University of Southern California. In addition to linguistics courses, she
                  has taught composition and occasionally literature. Her published research has focused
                  primarily on the analysis of the written and spoken narratives of monolingual and
                  multilingual adults and children. She also authors essays and a bilingual column in
                  the newspaper Midwest Irish Focus.
