“Miner-Unrau Fund for Graduate Students”


This fund honors the work of Dr. William Unrau and the memory of Dr. Craig Miner. Its purpose is to support graduate student travel for conference and research purposes.


Students who have completed 9 credit hours in History and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 are welcome to apply.


To apply, students need to submit to the department chair:


1) a one page summary of the proposed activity, identifying the research or learning outcomes.

2) A budget of expenses. (This fund provides a maximum of $750 per semester, contingent on available monies due to other awards or investment activities)

Review of applications takes place on a first come, first served basis with due dates for applications being September 1, February 1, and May 1.
