In this interview, Nancy shares her journey from being a stay-at-home Mom to becoming one of Wichita's most successful real estate professionals. Besides having a thriving residential real estate focus, she also is involved in commercial real estate and property management.

Early on, her core consumer base were members of Wichita's Chinese and Vietnamese communities. Specifically, her knowledge of Asian cultures helped her to reach this market. For instance, Nancy noted that "Chinese people like the north and south facing of the front door and the Vietnamese like the east and west."

Over the years, Nancy has expanded her home-buyer client base to include individuals from all ethnic/racial backgrounds. Yet, this did not come easily.

You have to work hard. You need to get to know the home inspectors, the lending department. I mean, there's just a lot of stuff involved other than just show houses and make a deal.

In the end, Nancy believes that if you are honest and loyal to your clients, you will earn their trust. Consequently, this can help grow your business network because "they will send you their friends, their family, their family, their co-workers, anybody they know."
