For Undergrads For Graduates What are the Great Plains?

Welcome to the Great Plains Studies Certificate Program

This program brings together students at Wichita State University and the general public to experience and study the region known as the Great Plains. With classes drawn from the sciences, the humanities, and other fields, the program explores this region in both its cultural and natural aspects. The program also encourages reaching out and connecting to other organizations that celebrate and support awareness of the Great Plains, as well as related regions such as the American Midwest, the South American Pampas, and the Asian Steppes.

The Certificate Program consists of both undergraduate and graduate components.
