National Fish Habitat Partnership

Through the National Fish Habitat Partnership, the USFWS invests along with Federal, State, Tribal and privately raised funds to conserve fish habitat.

About

The National Fish Habitat Partnership focuses on conservation of vital fish habitat. Through the partnership, funds are leveraged in order to conduct fish habitat conservation in the priorities laid out in the National Fish Habitat Action Plan.

By reaching out to the FWS Region 3 (includes Missouri) Fish Habitat Partnership Coordinator you can determine how local terrestrial and aquatic conservation/restoration efforts help meet regional and national goals.

By becoming knowledgeable and active in the fish partnership you gain access to funding or the ability to raise funds to implement healthy watershed projects. Healthy watersheds lead to healthy fish populations.

 Project Examples
