Documenting the history of Wichita's North End
A joint effort of WSU faculty along with the local community to recover the history of the North End neighborhood.
With the owner´s authorization, pictures may become part of the Wichita State University Libraries archives so future generations can study the history of this part of the city.
Some of the pictures we have received so far are included in the recent book Mexican Americans of Wichita´s North End published by Arcadia Publishing. All proceeds will go to the local non-profit North End Wichita Historical Society. For more information about the book, please contact wichitanorthend@gmail.com.

Un esfuerzo conjunto del profesorado de WSU y la comunidad local para recuperar la historia del barrio norte de Wichita.
Si así lo desean sus dueños, las imágenes recibidas podrán formar parte del archivo de la Biblioteca de la Wichita State para que así las generaciones futuras puedan estudiar la historia de esta parte de la ciudad.
Una selección de las fotografías recibidas forman parte del reciente libro Mexican Americans of Wichita´s North End, publicado por Arcadia Publishing. Todos los beneficios de la venta del libro se donarán a la North End Wichita Historical Society, una organización sin fines de lucro local.
