Dr. Sager Returns to Lecture at WSU

The Philosophy Department is pleased to welcome Dr. Angela Sager as its newest instructor.  Dr. Sager earned her Ph.D. at Fordham University and her B.A. in philosophy at WSU. She studies Philosophy of Religion, Continental Philosophy, Ethics, Ancient Philosophy, and Japanese Philosophy, and she will be teaching The Meaning of Philosophy and Business Ethics in Fall 2021.

"Over the years I've been teaching," says Sager, "both here in Kansas and in New York City when I was a grad student, I have found that students can find surprising connections between even the most ancient philosophical problems and current problems facing our culture.  Philosophy as a discipline gives a student the space and tools needed to think through and engage with the question and problems that lie buried beneath the busyness of everyday life."
