ACADEMIC INTEGRITY POLICY
The WSU Department of Philosophy abides by the Wichita State University policy on
Academic Honesty (Section 8.05 of the Student Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures
Manual, available at https://www.wichita.edu/about/policy/ch_08/ch8_05.php
The instructor of record for each philosophy class defines violations of this policy
for that class, and determines penalties for violations of this policy. Penalties
may include, but are not limited to, a failing grade for an assignment, a failing
grade for the course, or administrative withdrawal from the course.
In the event of serious violations of the academic honesty policy, the instructor
will fill out an Incident Report From and submit it to the department chair, who will
maintain records of all such violations. If it is deemed appropriate, the Incident
Report Form may be submitted to the Dean of Students.
