Madison Roths is the Coordinator for the School of Music Ambassadors. She is a sophomore studying Vocal Performance and is a member of the Honors College. Involved in WSU Opera Theatre and Concert Chorale, she studies voice with Dr. Pina Mozzani. Her favorite thing to do on campus is to set up her hammock and do her homework outside. Madison loves WSU because of the opportunities that it gives her for new experiences, such as traveling to Italy for a month through WSU’s Canta in Italia program.

Steven Joseph Powell is the Coordinator for the Media Arts Ambassadors. A senior majoring in Animation, he has high hopes of animating anything from Blues Clues to working at Disney someday. The only thing on his bucket list is getting his name in the end credits of a theatrical release animated movie. For now though, he’s trying his hand at children’s book illustration.

Cole Bellamy is a sophomore studying Music Education and Vocal Performance. He is currently studying voice with Alan Held, and is a member of Concert Chorale and the opera program. Cole loves traveling, meeting new people, and most importantly delicious food. He loves WSU because of its diversity and brilliant faculty.

Bryonna Stacey

Bryonna Stacey

Bryonna Stacey is a senior at Wichita State and plays the trumpet. She is majoring in Special Music Education with a minor in Psychology. She is the active President of the WSU band sorority Tau Beta Sigma. She has been involved in Shocker Sound Pep Band the last four years, and is a proud member of the new WSU marching band. Bryonna has also volunteered at the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation and the WSU Hearing and Speech Clinic teaching music. She also loves being a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Bryonna's favorite part of Wichita State is being able to talk with all the friendly and welcoming people in the Duerksen Fine Arts Center. 
Daijana Wallace

Daijana Wallace

Daijana Wallace is a senior majoring in Music Composition and Cello Performance. She is a member of the endowed Ann Walenta String Quartet which received second prize at the annual Wolff-Bing Chamber Music Competition in the spring of 2018. As a composer, her compositions have been premiered in Wichita, KS, as well as in Italy at the Cortona Sessions for New Music. Her favorite part about composing is discovering unconventional sounds and incorporating them in her pieces, and writing for her friends. While at Wichita State, Daijana has made lifelong friends and enjoys access to world-class faculty. Over the last three years she's had the privilege to learn from everyone she's interacted with, especially her cello professor Dr. Leonid Shukaev and her composition professors Dr. Aleks Sternfeld-Dunn and Dr. Walter Mays. In her free time, Daijana enjoys cooking.

Aviance Battles is a junior in the Dance department studying to get her Bachelors in Fine Arts. Along with being involved in Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre and Mid-America Dance Theatre, she’s a proud member of the Black Student Union and a Kauffman Scholar. Her favorite thing to do is to dance and spend quality time with the people she loves the most. She loves WSU because of the many opportunities it grants her, such as working with guest choreographers, master classes, and traveling internationally.

Jeremy Buoy

Jeremy Buoy is a senior in the School of Performing Arts. He is working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Theatre Performance, in addition to a Certificate in Directing. He is involved with theatre productions and is making his dircting debut this year, directing The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. He is greatful for all the opportunities he has at Wichita State, from performing and participating in other aspects of its shows, to meeting and connecting with guest artists in various aspects of the entertainment industry.

Martha Easton

Martha Easton is a senior pursuing a BFA in Dance and a minor in Exercise Science. At Wichita State, she has performed in Kansas Dance Festival (Dance), Les Indes Galantes (Opera collaboration), Wichita Contemporary Dance Theater Fall and Spring Concerts (Dance), and Alithea Mime Theater (Mime/Physical Theater). She is a current member of Wheat State Dance Collective. Her choreography has been presented in the Mid-America Dance Theatre Student Choreography Showcase as well as the 2018 American College Dance Association Central Regional in Urbana, IL. She studied at the School of the Minnesota Ballet under the direction of Robert Gardner and Innovative Soul Dance Company (Fusion Dance and Fitness) under the direction of Afton Wilson. At WSU, she has worked with artists such as Darrell Grand Moultrie, Nathan Trice, Jammie Walker, and Charlotte Boye-Christensen. Her favorite memories of WSU will be touring to Mexico and playing intramural sports with her friends.
Nadia Khalidi

Nadia Khalidi

Nadia is thrilled to be a Fine Arts Ambassador for the 2018-2019 school year! She is a senior majoring in Dance Performance on scholarship where she has had the opportunity to perform with Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre (internationally), Alithea Mime Theatre, and Mid America Dance Theatre. Currently, she is also dancing with Wheat State Dance Collective under Heather Eilerts, and teaching all around Wichita and the surrounding areas. She is President of Mid-America Dance Theatre, where her involvement reaches beyond the studio. In 2017, her work “Is” was selected to perform at the American College Dance Association’s adjudicated performance, where she received feedback on her choreography. She is so proud to call herself a Shocker because of all the extensive opportunities the dance department gives her!

Kjersten Anderson

Kjersten Anderson is a fine arts ambassador for the media arts program. She is a junior with an emphasis in filmmaking and is the astronomy club treasurer. She was able to study abroad in Japan over the summer and appreciates the many opportunities and care the teachers provide the students. She loves all of the statues around, and the theater building is her favorite place on campus.

Driven to create meaningful content, Max Frish is an independent filmmaker with a background in photography. Being a student of the industry and at Wichita State University degree of Applied Arts in Filmmaking, he is dedicated to grow as a creator and storyteller. Max searches for those stories, wherever they are in the world, to expose others to new experiences and adventure.

Michaela Marioni

Born and raised in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, Michaela Marioni moved to Wichita in early 2015 due to her husband being in the Air Force. She is a Senior pursuing the Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Video Game Design at Wichita State University, wanting to primarily focus on Concept Art. Her dream job is to one day work for Blizzard. She is a student Ambassador in the Media Arts Ambassadors, and has worked on multiple projects, including two for Snoop Dogg. Her favorite thing to do in her past time is spend time with her family and four fur babies.
