
Diego Rocha is a Brazilian actor, filmmaker, and production designer whose work centers
on emotionally grounded, multicultural storytelling. Trained in both Brazil and Spain,
he began his studies at Nou Prodigi Escuela de Mitjans Audiovisuales before continuing
his acting training at Cena Hum and under acclaimed Latin American acting coach Fátima
Toledo.
Drawing from a diverse artistic and cultural background, Diego approaches performance
with a strong focus on emotional truth, human vulnerability, and character-driven
storytelling. Over the last few years, he has contributed to more than 60 commercial,
short, and feature-length film projects, developing a multidisciplinary understanding
of the filmmaking process.
Through his creative work, Diego has collaborated closely with scholars, filmmakers
and artists including Alexander Hartwiger, Matthew Schmidli, Monika Gossmann, Mark
Vargo, ASC, and acting coach Sergio Spina. He continues to explore stories that bridge
cultures, languages, and shared human experiences through cinema. He holds an MFA
in Film Production (Directing) from the Florida State University College of Motion
Picture Arts and an M.Ed. in TESL from Framingham State University.
