What is one thing you are looking forward to as you step into a new chapter of your life after college?
I am looking forward to the new opportunities after graduation that will push me out of my comfort zone! I am motivated by the uncertainty ahead and look forward to new opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge myself as a performer and artist!
How has your experience at WSU changed/impacted your craft?
Wichita State has expanded and reshaped my love of Dance and the Arts as well as blessed me with a support system to help me grow and mature as a human. My amazing teachers have taught me the importance of professionalism and discipline, while also deepening my appreciation for the joy and fulfillment dance brings to me!
What is one of your favorite memories at Wichita State University?
The travel opportunities! I have been able to attend trips to NYC, Xalapa Mexico, and many ACDA trips each being with people I adore. The friendships and memories from my time here are irreplaceable and unforgettable.
What are some words of wisdom you would like to share with new artist as they pursue a degree in the Performing Arts?
Take any and all chances given to you to grow! Your time here is too short to not take every opportunity available, even if you think it is outside of your comfort zone. Pursuing a degree in the Performing Arts is a perfect time to dismantle your comfort zone, and approach any unfamiliarity with an open and curious mind! If not now, then when?
