Good Day Kanas Interview about the Standardized Patient Actor Program - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmTqd1EbkVw

Upbeat morning show music plays as a full-screen graphic displays the words “Good Day Kansas” in white text. The NBC peacock logo appears beneath the word “Good.” A large sunflower graphic is centered behind the text on a purple background with gold diagonal accents.
The scene fades to three individuals standing indoors in front of a large black and yellow Wichita State Shockers wall graphic. Two individuals on the left wear dark professional attire and stand with hands clasped. The individual on the right wears a patterned sleeveless outfit and holds a handheld microphone with a Good Day Kansas logo. The camera remains stationary.
A lower‑third graphic displays the Good Day Kansas logo and the text “Malley Jones, Good Day Kansas Host.” A second lower‑third later identifies “Aunna Escalente, MSN, RN” and “Jennifer Thornberry, DNP, APRN, FNP‑BC.”
The video cuts to a simulated clinical setting where a nursing student examines a patient’s ear using an otoscope. A close‑up shows medical diagnostic equipment mounted on a wall, including an analog blood pressure gauge, handheld diagnostic instruments, and a vertical diagnostic panel. The brand name “McKesson” appears above the equipment.
Another scene shows a patient seated on an exam table with a student wearing a white lab coat and stethoscope seated nearby. Additional shots show the student using a stethoscope and taking notes during the examination.
The video returns briefly to the interview before cutting to a computer screen showing the Wichita State Nursing Standardized Patient Actors website, including pages with program information, qualifications, and application details.
Several cutaway scenes show standardized patient interactions in exam rooms with participants of varying ages and backgrounds. A full‑screen graphic appears reading “Scan the QR code for more info,” with additional text reading “Or visit Wichita.edu/PatientActors.”
The interview resumes with an additional guest identified as Brenda. Cutaway shots show Brenda participating in a simulated patient scenario.
The segment concludes with the host facing the camera and gesturing outward as on‑screen text references Wichita State University Nursing. The music rises and the screen fades to black.
