Alternative Spring Break
Special General Assembly
A Special Session of the Honors General Assembly, usually held in spring, will be
held on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the RSC 3rd floor, Beggs Ballroom. Snacks and drinks will be provided. As required by the college
bylaws, the General Assembly is a way for students and faculty to stay informed and
make their voices heard. Please plan to attend to hear discussions about student survey
results, Cohen fund updates, college expansion, and student fees. You are not obligated
to stay the entire time, but please make an effort to attend.
If you have not done so already, please fill out the Honors College Student Survey.
The Cohen Honors College hopes to see you there and hear your thoughts.
WHEAT Movie Night
WHEAT's next Movie Night will be on November 8 at 6:00 PM in the Shocker Hall Multipurpose Room. We'll be watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Message from your Academic Advisor Concerning Registration
Registrations opens November 17th! 
Please make sure that you have met with your academic advisor to receive clearance to register! Honors students receive priority enrollment. However, Honors students are required to follow the rules of their majors in regards to advising. If you have not done so, please contact your advising center for an appointment. For students who do not have mandatory advising appointments - it does not hurt to have an expert review your plan. Advising appointments are free!

Advising Hours

Due to an obligation Jessica Raburn will be out of the office and will not be holding set open advising hours. However, she will be checking her email and students should email questions and concerns in order to arrange a meeting time if necessary.
