Honors hires Applied Learning Graduate Assistant

The Cohen Honors College is excited to announce that Mariem Berrada has joined us as our Applied Learning Graduate Assistant. Mariem will be working closely with the Office of Applied Learning to cultivate internships and cooperative education opportunities for Cohen Honors students.

Not only will Mariem help students with the internship process at the university but she will also work one on one with you to interface with the community to find those opportunities for you.
   

She will be available for appointments in both the Cohen Honors College and the John Bardo Center.

Honors Is Seeking Summer Research Institute (SRI) in First Year Research Experience (FYRE) Peer Mentors

SRI in FYRE is hosted on the WSU main campus June 7-11, 2020. SRI Peer Mentors will assist with camp preparation during the months of April and May. The SRI Peer Mentors will serve as a mentor, lead team building activities, help an incoming fellow Shocker transition into college life, participate in research alongside the campers, and assist the SRI team with other activities the week of the camp. If you have an interest in research, helping students explore their interests in research, and are looking for a short term paid position - please apply!
