Featuring a poetry reading by Dr. Kevin Rabas, the current Kansas Poet Laureate. Dr. Rabas will take questions during lunch.

Koch Scholars Volunteer at Food Bank with Dr. Bell

Koch Volunteer Image On Oct. 19, 14 of our Honors College KOCH Scholars, 5 KOCH employees and Dr. Bell bagged and boxed 1200 food packages at the Kansas Food Bank Cargill Cares Complex for the Kids in Need School Program.

Honors Challenge - Donate Books

Give Back to Kids Challenge: Fill the Box with Books!

The Honors Student Council and WHEAT student organization challenge Honors to fill a box for the Mortar Board Honor Society book drive by October 31^st. Book donations will benefit the children of Cessna Elementary. The books must be in good condition and appropriate for elementary school children. A box will be in the Honors Office in Shocker Hall, and the first 10 books are donated by your Dean. Beat the Dean. Fill the box! (Write your name on a slip of paper taped or inserted in the book to earn a community award point.)

WHEAT's next Movie Night will be on November 8 at 6:00 PM in the Shocker Hall Multipurpose Room. Food and refreshments will be provided. Vote here for the movie you would like to see, and we will announce the winner in next week's Honors Weekly Update.
