Curriculum

The major in applied linguistics offers students three concentrations: general linguistics, speech pathology and communication sciences, and computer science and data science. 

A departmental honors track is also available for this major.

This degree enables students to specialize in the subfield of linguistics and offers the necessary skill sets to find job placements in the industry or pursue graduate studies.
