Inside the Program

Students invent remote health care software

A team of students invented Mobile HealthLink, a remote health monitoring system that allows physicians to check on patients via a programmable smartwatch.

With the remote system, a physician enters a set of questions into the Mobile HealthLink website customized for each patient and their ailment. The patient can quickly answer the questions, and the physician is alerted to the responses and can see overall trends that might merit a follow-up appointment.

Curriculum

The MBA health care administration concentration provides understanding and knowledge of the issues facing organizations in the health services industry. This specialized knowledge will help you cope with managerial processes in the dynamic health care industry.

Most MBA classes are eight-week hybrids, where you attend class once a week and also complete work online.
