Chemistry professor provides experience opportunities for students

Chemistry students at Wichita State University have opportunities to gain experience both inside the classroom and out.

Assistant Chemistry Professor Katie Mitchell-Koch is providing valuable opportunities and resources for undergraduate and graduate students helping with her research project.

Her project focuses on the movement of solvent molecules around enzymes, the proteins that catalyze chemical reactions.

Curriculum

The program will equip you for careers in pharmaceutical or chemical sales,  management, advertising and other related areas. It's also ideal if you want to open your own private practice in medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine. It includes coursework in the chemistry department and the W. Frank Barton School of Business.
