Curriculum

To provide for the changing needs of learners in the area of online learning and educational technology, this program offers Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education to educators, trainers and professional developers who wish to advance their knowledge of online teaching, information technology in education, integration of various emerging technologies into instruction or professional development programs, and the use of technology for communication and professional productivity. Through six credit hours of core courses and six credit hours of electives, the certificate will provide foundational knowledge and skills about online course design, ways of integrating ICT in educational and other professional settings as well as opportunities to advance ICT knowledge and skills related to subject matter-specific topics.
