The Medieval and Renaissance Studies undergraduate certificate program at Wichita State allows you to explore the diversity of European culture through courses in art history, English literature, history, languages, musicology and political science. Curriculum

The undergraduate certificate may be earned by any undergraduate or graduate student. It requires coursework from at least three departments including history, literature, language and another discipline.

The certificate may be combined with a major (e.g., English, history) or taken as an elective interest.

How to enroll

To add this certificate to your plan of study: 

  • Log into the myWSU portal, find the Student Tools box (center of the page) and click "Change my Major/Minor."
  • Click continue (this will show your current major and minor).
  • Click continue, then click on "Add a certificate" and choose your certificate program. Click continue and submit request.
