A minor in wellness from Wichita State combines your passion for the complex concept
of wellness with basic knowledge and skills in a variety of subject areas, such as
counseling, human performance studies, sociology and leadership.
At Wichita State, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has
a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping
you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation.
To complete the 12-credit-hour minor, you'll first take Dimensions of Wellness. Then,
you'll select three more courses based on your interests and career goals.
A minor in wellness from Wichita State opens doors to employment in diverse sectors
of the sport industry. Our alumni are employed in Kansas, across the nation and internationally—with
local schools, universities, health clubs, minor-league and professional league sport
organizations.
