Wichita State University’s Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Sport Management program stands out as a leader in both quality and affordability. It is one of the few graduate programs in the nation fully accredited by the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA).
Recognized for its affordability, the program was recently named the nation’s most affordable in-state graduate sport management tuition and the #6-ranked sport management master’s degree by Intelligent.com. Starting in Fall 2024, the program will transition to a fully online format, allowing students from across the nation to benefit from WSU’s affordable in-state tuition rates, as the online tuition rate matches the in-state or resident tuition.
The program was also recently nationally ranked the #8 best sport management master’s degree by the Sport Management Degree Guide and the #14 best sport management graduate program by Value Colleges.
The sport management program’s faculty comprises full-time sport management experts with over a century of combined experience in the industry, many of whom continue to actively work within the field. This ensures that students receive education grounded in current industry theories, practices, and trends.
Wichita State’s M.Ed. in Sport Management program prides itself on comprehensive student support. Each graduate student is paired with a mentor from the Sport Management Alumni Association, a global network of professionals committed to giving back to the program. This mentorship is a cornerstone of the program’s commitment to holistic career development from day one.
