BECAL Ambassadors

The WSU BECAL-CPK Ambassadors serve as a resource for future WSU BECAL-CPK students, exemplifying knowledge of WSU campus culture, programs, policies, and procedures. The ambassadors' goal is to show future students the amazing benefits of studying at WSU by sharing experiences, advice, and information. BECAL-CPK Ambassadors are reliable, passionate about WSU, and looking to share the value of studying at Wichita State through presentations and one-on-one conversations. Ambassadors consist of previous WSU BECAL-CPK students who are committed to promoting WSU to potential WSU BECAL-CPK students.

BENEFITS

Benefits of being an ambassador include, but not limited to:

- Serve as a student representative for the WSU BECAL-CPK program

- Participate in various WSU BECAL-CPK initiatives

- Meet and engage with other BECAL-CPK students

- Share about your experiences and time here at WSU

- Receive a WSU BECAL-CPK Ambassador Certificate

RESPONSIBILITIES

Each BECAL-CPK ambassador is expected to serve as an ambassador for one year. After one year, the ambassador will become a WSU BECAL-CPK Ambassador Alum and will no longer be contacted for responsibilities, but will continue to represent Wichita State in a professional and positive manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Participate in various webinars

- Assist with zoom meetings

- Promote WSU to BECAL-CPK students

- Share WSU knowledge, experiences and advice with BECAL-CPK students

- Support BECAL-CPK students via email so they can reach out for questions, information, and advice

- Represent Wichita State in a professional and positive manner

- Show punctuality and reliability
