NOTES:

  • Figures are estimates given by Host University. Figures were given in host currency and converted to United States Dollars using a floating exchange rate. As of 08/07/2024, 1 Euro (EUR) = 1.09 (USD) 
  • Accommodations given by the university range from 350-550 Euros per month. Éklore-ed School of Management provides accommodation according to availabilities in residence halls or apartment arrangements.
  • Estimates for meals were given by the university at approximately 150 Euros per month.  
  • No exact estimate was provided by the partner university, however we estimate that you should not spend over $150 for textbooks for one semester. 
  • The GeoBlue Student Insurance Plan is required for international travel. The total cost is based on the total number of days the student is abroad.  As of July 2024, it cost $1.46 per day for a maximum $100,000 coverage and $100 deductible. 150 days (5 months) will be approximately $219.  There are different coverage plans available at different prices. 
  • There is a separate housing and liability insurance for 5 euros a month. 
  • Student Visa is required in France for students studying more than 3 months. Personal appearance is required at a VFS center in the United States. Appointment fees, processing fees, and shipping fees can vary and will total approximately $273.91.   • Airfare cost was provided according to Orbitz as of July 2024 with travel dates of January 6, 2025 – June 2, 2025. This should provide a good estimate to cover the airfare expense. 
  • Personal expense estimates are provided by Financial Aid for students living on the WSU campus, which will be similar during a study abroad program. 

* Tuition and Fees are based on the Resident rate for 12 undergraduate credit hours at Wichita State University. Students will pay their current tuition rate during the study abroad program based on their residency and any specific college/department requirements.
