- Accommodations given from the university for off campus apartments are calculated at 525 euros per month.
- Meals calculated for approximately 250 euros per month for length of stay. The University of Deusto has a coffee shop/restaurant on campus with hot food and snacks.
- For local transportation within San Sebastian, the University gives an estimate of 15-20 euros for a monthly transportation pass.
- No exact estimate was provided by the partner university, however we estimate that you should not spend over $150 for textbooks for one semester.

- Student Visa is required in Spain for those whose time of study exceeds 90 days. Personal appearance is required at your designated Spanish consulate on two separate occasions. The Spanish consulate for Kansas residents is in Chicago. Translation is needed for some visa documents and requires a translation fee. This is not included in this budget. The visa fee is $160.
- Airfare cost was provided according to Orbitz as of 8/3/2026 with travel dates of January 16, 2027 – June 11, 2027. This should provide a good estimate to cover the airfare expense.
- Personal expense estimates are provided by Financial Aid for students living on the WSU campus, which will be similar during a study abroad program.
*Tuition and Fees are based on the Resident rate during Fall 2026 for 12 undergraduate credit hours at Wichita State University. Students will pay their current tuition rate during the study abroad program based on their residency and any specific college/department requirements.
