Why would you recommend the program to other U.S. students?

I would recommend the program to anybody that is looking to meet new people. Not only do you get to meet the exchange students but also the other buddies that go to WSU. I would highly recommend taking part in the buddy program if you plan on studying abroad or, like me, just came back from a study abroad program.

What have you learned from being a buddy?

I've actually learned a lot about Wichita since I became a buddy. Since I am not originally from Wichita I did not know too much about the city. The buddy program has pushed me to go and do a lot of activities around Wichita, some which I had never heard of.

Why did you sign up to be a buddy?

The buddy that was assigned to me during my exchange semester in Germany made my transition to life in another country so much easier. For this reason, I knew I wanted to be that person for a student coming to WSU.
