The sale, services, and/or consumption of alcohol on University Premises is governed by WSU Policy 11.07 / Sale, Service, And Consumption Of Alcohol On University Premises. Except in limited circumstances as set forth in the policy, advance approval from the Office of General Counsel is required for the sale, service, and/or consumption of Alcohol on University Premises.
A condition of approval is that the sale, service and/or consumption of alcohol must be limited to Designated Areas. The following locations have been approved as Designated Areas:
1. Indoor Designated Areas are limited to the following (non-classroom areas only within these buildings):
- Ablah Library
- Beggs Hall Lobby
- CAC Theater
- Corbin Hall
- Devlin Hall Lobby
- Digital Research and Transformation Hub
- Duerksen Fine Arts Center (Miller Concert Hall Lobby only)

- Hubbard Hall
- Hughes Metropolitan Complex (excluding all classrooms)

- National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) Building

*University Housing Facilities: University-owned or operated student housing facilities, which includes Shocker Hall, The Suites, and The Flats.
**Athletics Facilities: University / Cessna Stadium, Charles Koch Arena (including the throwing field), Eck Stadium - Home of Tyler Field, Wilkins Stadium and connected facilities, Wilkins Softball Team Operations Facility, Student Athlete Center, Willowbend Hitting Facility, Bombardier Learjet Practice Facility, and the Coleman Tennis Complex.
