I developed the Internal Control All-Star badge course in an on-demand format. However, I soon realized that some prefer more interaction and discussion about the materials covered.
In response, I organized the first in-person Internal Control All-Star session, where five new Internal Control All-Stars earned their credentials.
Five New Internal Control All-Stars
The five earning recognition, from left to right, were:
- Leah Woolsoncroft, IDP Associate Director of Finance, Planning, and Analysis
- Lisa Pappas, Executive Assistant to the Finance & Administration Divisional Officer
- Lexi Campbell, IDP Business Manager
- Preston Williams, IDP Business Coordinator
- Cole Wassenberg, IDP Budget Analyst
Leah Woolsoncroft and her Industry and Defense Programs finance team found the scheduled in-person session helpful for committing to completing the course. As a bonus, they appreciated how this format allowed for more in-depth discussion of specific areas and enhanced their learning experience.
Lisa Pappas, joining us from the vice president for finance office, expressed a similar sentiment.
