Compliance Committee Structure

The President has established a Compliance Committee to monitor the university's compliance efforts and proactively fulfill its compliance obligations. The Compliance Committee will serve as advisors to the President's Executive Team regarding implementation and effectiveness of the university's compliance efforts.

The Compliance Committee will be comprised of a four-person steering committee and its compliance partners.1

Steering Committee:

  • Director of Institutional Equity and Compliance (co-chair)
  • Director of Internal Audit (co-chair)
  • Deputy General Counsel
  • Director of Operations (liaison to President's Office)

Compliance Committee Responsibilities

The Compliance Committee will collaborate with each university compliance partner to:

  • Foster communication across campus on compliance related issues.
  • Develop and maintain a university compliance index and database.
  • Oversee and promote the university ethics and compliance hotline.

The goal of these collaborations is to create a seamless compliance team where expertise of all departments is immediately accessible and sustainable.
