International Check-In

The SEVIS hold has been replaced with an "Int'l Check-in Hold" since all international students will now be required to check in each semester. The new Int'l Check-in Hold will be used starting with preregistration for Summer 2023 and Fall 2023.

The Office of International Education recently moved to a new computer system that uses a new check-in form. The new form requires a personalized link that is attached to the student's account rather than a generic form that any student can use. International Check-In

All international students, regardless of visa type, must complete an online International Check-in form before the International Check-in Hold can be removed from their WSU account.

Check-ins are cleared in the order in which they are received – no exceptions.
Please note that if you submit a completed check-in by 8:00 a.m., your hold will be cleared the same business day.
Check-ins submitted after 8:00 a.m. may not be cleared until the next business day.

*International Check-in is required each semester.
