Global Mentor Program
The Global Mentor Program is a volunteer program designed to help new students transition to their life in Wichita while providing current students opportunities to grow and develop while meeting new students.
What Mentors Do:
- Train for and help organize new student orientation
- Lead a small group during orientation including group discussion and group tour
- Participate in monthly meetings with the Global Mentor Coordinator
- Make efforts throughout each month to contact and connect with their entire group, including bringing them to events and gathering for additional group meetings.
- Mentors will try to connect several times each month with the individual students in their group. They can meet in person, call/text them, or connect via social media to ensure their students are adapting well.
