1) If you have never applied for admission, please do so.

If you applied to Wichita State University in the past, contact international@wichita.edu to request information on how to return.
2) Wait to find out if you are accepted for admission. You cannot transfer to Wichita State University until you have received admission.
3) If you are accepted for admission, you will be sent a Transfer Request Form with your admission documents. Complete and return the form to iss@wichita.edu. Once the form is received and your SEVIS record has been transferred to WSU from your previous school, we will issue your transfer-pending I-20. The I-20 will be emailed to the email address listed on the Transfer Request Form.
4) Read our Pre-Departure Information and make arrangements to come to Wichita. If you require airport arrival assistance, notify us of your travel itinerary.
5) When instructed, complete the SEVIS check-in online for the upcoming term. Once you submit the check-in, ISS will remove the SEVIS hold from your account. You will need to clear all holds with other departments before you can enroll.
6) You will automatically be charged for medical insurance each semester you enroll at WSU unless you submit a Medical Insurance Waiver before the deadline. Be sure you observe the deadline for submitting an insurance waiver- no exceptions will be made.
