You indicated that:
1) You previously attended WSU
AND
2) You last attended as an IELC student
AND
3) You are currently in the U.S.
STEPS TO RETURN TO WSU
1) Please complete our Readmission Form to indicate your desire to return to WSU.
2) After you submit the Readmission Form, your Admissions Officer will contact you about any items that are needed.
3) If you are accepted for admission, you will be sent a Transfer Request Form with your admission documents. Please complete the top part of the Transfer Request Form and ask an International Student Advisor at your current school to complete the bottom portion of the Transfer Request Form.
4) Once WSU receives your completed Transfer Request Form and electronic SEVIS record from your previous school, we will issue your transfer pending I-20. The I-20 will either be mailed to your current address or kept at the Garvey International Center for you to pick up according to which option you indicated on the Transfer Request Form.
5) Read our Pre-Departure Information and make arrangements to come to Wichita. Notify us of your travel itinerary.
6) Upon arriving in Wichita, you should come to the Garvey International Center to complete the new student check-in process which will begin approximately three weeks before the semester begins. Bring your passport and I-20 from your previous institution. During check-in, you will receive information about new student orientation, academic advising, and more.
7) You will automatically be charged for medical insurance each semester you enroll at WSU unless you submit a Medical Insurance Waiver before the deadline. Be sure you observe the deadline for submitting an insurance waiver- no exceptions will be made.
