Undergraduate Transfer Agreements for Engineering

If we are able to do a 2+2 agreement, students would attend their first 2 years at your school and then complete their degree after attending 2 additional years at Wichita State University. If you would like to be considered for a 2+2 agreement with Wichita State, we must have the items below to begin an evaluation:

1) Program Overview / Program Description
Please send general information that introduces your school to us such as when your school opened, how many programs you offer, accreditation information or recognition by your Ministry of Education, etc. We also need to know general requirements for the program you would like us to evaluate, the classes required for graduation, how many years it typically takes to complete a degree or diploma, and other general information.

2) School Calendar
The academic calendar for your school tells us when your classes begin and end each term, when your break periods are, etc.

3) Typical Transcript
We need a sample transcript that you would send to us whenever a student applies to Wichita State. The transcript should list the classes the student has taken and the grades received in those classes. If desired, you may send a transcript of a real student. However, please mark out the name of the student and any other identifying information.

4) Instructional Hours
How many hours of instruction does a student typically receive per class during one of your terms or semesters? If your school assigns credit hours to each class, the transcript you send to us will provide that information. At Wichita State, for example, most classes are 3 credit hours -- which means that students typically receive 3 hours of instruction per week for 16 weeks.

5) Intended Majors
What majors will most of your students apply to at Wichita State University?

6) Send the Above Information
Please send the above information to Michelle.Barger@wichita.edu.

After receipt of the above items, the College of Engineering will conduct a preliminary review to determine if a transfer agreement might be possible. If yes, we will ask you to submit detailed syllabi of each class so that we can fully evaluate the classes you offer.
