  • For this option, the SAT or ACT is NOT required for admission.
  • This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school).
  • Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission -- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
  • Students who have completed AP, IB, or Cambridge A or AS level curriculum are eligible to receive transfer credit.
  • Students must submit final high school transcripts.
    • You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University, you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.
  • Transcripts or examination results may be sent away for verification. If selected, it may take some time for the verification results to be returned.
  • The TOEFL or IELTS are not required to apply. View English Requirement.

OPTION 2: ADMISSION BASED ON SAT OR ACT RESULTS

  • The SAT or ACT is required for this option.
  • This is the best option for students who want admission before completing high school, attended an unrecognized school, or do not meet the admissions requirements in Option 1.
  • If you have taken the SAT or ACT, you may apply during your final year of high school.
  • SAT results must be sent directly from the College Board. Our institution code is 6884.
  • ACT results must be sent directly from ACT. Our institution code is 1472.
  • For application purposes, you may submit your test scores with your other admission materials for initial review. However, you must still submit your official test scores to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University, or you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms. Official score reports must come to us directly from the testing agency and the test must have been taken within the last two years.
