Your next steps to becoming a Shocker

You're ready for a life-changing Shocker experience. Now that you're admitted to Wichita State, you're one step closer to all of the fun, excitement and unmatched opportunities you'll only get as an official member of Shocker Nation.

To help keep you on track, we've included a handy checklist of Shocker To-Dos to help you make a smooth transition between now and your first day of classes.

Once you've completed these steps, congrats! You're officially a Shocker!

  1. Set up your myWSU student account and email: mywsu.wichita.edu
  2. Attend W-S-YOU in late March and meet hundreds of Future Shockers: wichita.edu/wsyou
  3. Check both your new Wichita State and personal email accounts regularly for important information about enrollment, housing and financial aid
  4. Connect with future classmates on ZeeMee at wichita.edu/zeemee and visit wichita.edu/blog to read the latest tips and tricks to navigate campus living, college activities, on-campus dining and more
  5. Complete and submit FAFSA for aid purposes: studentaid.gov
  6. Submit your housing application and fee: wichita.edu/housing
  7. In March, complete and submit the Enrollment Questionnaire and learn more about Orientation options by visiting: wichita.edu/orientation
  8. Check youtube.com/futureshocker for peeks of campus, get familiar with campus through our virtual tour at wichita.edu/campustour and keep an eye out for admitted student swag in your mailbox
