Ever wonder what it'd be like to hit the books in the morning and hit the beach in the afternoon? Thanks to National Student Exchange (NSE), you can.

That's because NSE lets you swap WSU's campus with nearly 200 universities across the United States and Canada — while paying regular WSU tuition and earning credit toward your degree.

When you study through NSE, you'll:

  • Pay regular WSU tuition rates to Wichita State and the cost of room and board to your host campus. Have financial aid? It'll still be applied to your WSU tuition — with the balance going to you for fee payment at your exchange university.
  • Earn full credit toward your WSU degree. To keep your studies on track, you'll meet with an advisor before you leave on exchange.
  • Study at your chosen university for a semester or full academic year. Make sure to apply for NSE the fall before the year you want to exchange.

To be eligible for NSE you must:

  • Be enrolled in at least nine hours at WSU during the semester before you exchange.
  • Be a domestic, undergraduate student.
  • Have a minimum 2.50 GPA when you apply  for NSE and for the semester prior to exchange.
  • Fill out an application at wichita.edu/nse.
  • Submit the application and the $200 NSE application fee.
