Through WSU's Liberal Arts and Sciences Advising Center (LASAC), pre-med students have access to the advising, resources and program-specific expertise they need through every step of their WSU experience.
Your pre-med advisor will help you develop a customized academic plan that includes required prerequisites, degree requirements and information on when — and how — to apply to the programs of your choice.
They'll also connect you to opportunities and experiences that'll help you get the most out of your time at WSU — while putting you closer to achieving your career goals — including:

Premedical Student Association
The Premedical Student Association provides social and academic support — and volunteering opportunities — for Shocker pre-med students. Participants have access to a variety of guest speakers — including area physicians, specialists and medical school admissions deans — mock interviews, service projects and shadowing experiences.
