Why I chose my major
I chose my major because from a young age I have been fascinated with all things space
and genuinely enjoyed math and other STEM classes. I also feel like I can use my
degree to make a difference, whether it be through designing a satellite that discovers
the next big thing or working on a team to improve current aircraft’s making them
safer for human travel.

Why I chose Wichita State
I chose Wichita State because the moment I stepped on campus I felt like I had found
my home. The people I interacted with were so kind, genuine and had a passion for
their major and future plans. The engineering program was impressive and being in
the air capital was great for my major. Additionally it is very affordable, especially
as an out of state student.
Favorite thing about WSU
I’ve only been on campus for a short time but my favorite part so far is all the events
on campus. There is always something to do and I truly believe there is something
for everyone.
Favorite hobby to do in my free time
I love watching movies, traveling with my family, getting coffee or going shopping.
Advice I'd give to an incoming student
Trust the process, coming into college can be a very stressful time with lots of uncertainties
but everything will work itself out and you will find your place.
