Why I chose my major
I choose Aerospace Engineering because I realized I like to design, build and be creative. I found my passion is to become an aerospace engineer, and to see how aircraft are designed and built, as well as having the chance to work hands on through applied learning.

Why I chose Wichita State
As a first-generation student who is pursuing her major and education, it is really affordable. I really like the diversity WSU has. It has been amazing to see people from all different types of countries here at WSU getting an education. There are all types organizations with different ideas, cultures, religions, and values. There are a wide variety of job opportunities on campus for all majors and programs. I really love to walk around campus, and it makes me feel more relaxed as the campus everywhere is organized and clean.

Favorite thing about WSU
I feel safe and at home at WSU. I really love the dining hall. There are so many different foods you can enjoy. Seeing how WSU works hard, not just for academics, but also for wellness and health.

Favorite hobby to do in my free time
Reading books, going to the gym, playing pickleball, gardening. I also like to try new local places for coffee, food, go to farmer's market.

Advice I'd give to an incoming student
When you start, there is going to be so many things to do, but remember to stay on top of your classes. Start learning how to manage your time, make time for yourself, for your family and friends.
